1863            Jan 19, moved downriver toward Fort Pulaski to St. Augustine Creek
                    March, on station near Fort Jackson
                    June 10, moved down from Elba Island to Wilmington River
                    June 17, engaged USS weehawken and USS Nahant (both Passaic class monitors) in Wassaw Sound GA, damaged, run around and captured

                     Removed from bar, surveyed and repaired at Port Royal, taken into Union Service, rearmed and commissioned.  Minesweeper in James River

1864             May 5, convoyed Butler's troops up James River
                     May 21, drove off Confederate cavalry attacking Fort Powhatan
                     Guarded James River against Confederate Ironclads (Virginia II, Fredericksburg and Richmond)
1869             Sold to Haiti
                     Dec, disappeared at sea off Cape Hatteras
